How to send custom email and SMS notifications per Shipper (Customer)

If your delivery business functions on behalf of multiple customers (referred to as Shippers in Track-POD terminology) under the Ultimate plan, you can establish tailored notification templates for each Shipper, both via email and SMS, to effectively relay information to their end clients.


To proceed with that:


1. Navigate to Directories -> Shippers.



2. Optional: customize the sending of various types of notifications; for example, for Shipper 123, notifications will be sent before routes, at the route start, and at departure, while notifications en route will be omitted.



3. To create custom templates, click the Message button in the Shippers grid.



4. In the Edit Custom Template window, modify the default template using the list of available placeholders and enable the toggle 'Use custom template'; custom notifications can be disabled at any point. Then click Save.



5. Continue with other types of notifications if needed.




Also keep in mind that you can customize an ePOD template sent automatically to your customer (shipper).
