How to set up custom notifications

We understand that the delivery business is a dynamic environment and you frequently need to think outside the box.

Track-POD has now covered all scenarios and has introduced Custom notifications for situations when additional/ out of the usual sequence communication is required.

It is simple to set up, and you can create both SMS and email templates for many different scenarios to notify individual clients or all clients on the route.


The templates can be created via settings->notification-> custom:




Just like other Track-POD notifications, custom notifications can be set up with freehand text and with order/goods and tracking placeholders. Pay attentioon to fill the required fiels, you may add place holders by copying and pasting them:




You can add as many templates to your list as your workflow requires, which will then become available for quick access straight from your dashboard.





  • The custom notifications can be sent to an entire route (1) or to a selected order/client (2)



  • The available templates list will appear based on the type of custom notification you have chosen to send

2. Preview, edit text if required and send:





Just like with all the other notifications sent from Track-POD, the custom notifications delivery status will be reflected in the order history tab:
