You can easily customize a PDF file sent as an ePOD to provide to your customers
full information about their order delivery or pickup.
To do that please go to Settings -> Notifications -> At Departure -> Open PDF editor
A new window with the PDF editor will open, if you haven't edited the template yet it will appear as in the screenshot below. Note if you are not happy with the editing results you can always reset the template to this default view by clicking the Restore button.
You may want to start editing the template by replacing the Track-POD logo by your company's logo, just delete the default one and use copy&paste to insert your.
To add more information about the order click the Placeholders button and check the list of tags available. The placeholders are grouped by the entity they refer to - Order, Route, Load Check, Goods Summary, Goods Table, Custom fields.
Copy and insert a placeholder in the table for the relevant info to be displayed.
IMPORTANT: Goods table shall not be deleted, all the information related to goods (placeholders under Goods Table) shall be inserted within the table.
You can deleted unnecessary columns using the tool bar but make sure the table structure in general is preserved.
Goods Summary placeholders shall be added to the ePOD under the Goods Table. You may want to create a separate table for them or just list them in a column.
If you are an advanced user you may substitute the default HTML code and insert your custom code for the ePOD to increase your brand awareness among the customers.
After you apply all changes to the template can preview it by clicking the Preview PDF button. Happy with the result? Click Save.
