Customizing shipping labels in Track-POD is a straightforward process that allows you to tailor your labels to meet your specific needs. Due to popular demand, we have updated our web dashboard settings, moving both scanning and shipping labels to a separate tab for easier access. Here’s how to customize your shipping labels effectively:

1. Accessing Settings: Begin by navigating to Settings in your Track-POD dashboard. From there, go to Mobile Workflow and select Scanning. This is where you can adjust your shipping label settings.

2. Selecting the Entity: In the Scanning section, choose whether you will be scanning Orders or Goods. This selection is crucial as it determines the barcode displayed on the shipping label and the number of labels printed. For instance, if you opt for scanning Orders, the shipping label will feature a barcode generated from the Order number or any uploaded Order barcode value.

3. Label Quantity: If you choose to scan Order Volume or Order Plt/Pkg, the number of shipping labels printed will correspond to the quantity specified in the respective order field.

4. Labels Per Page: You can select the number of labels printed per page based on your printing needs. Options include:

- A4 (6 labels per page): Ideal for standard office printers.

- 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inch): Suitable for industrial label printers like Zebra.

- 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6 inch): Also compatible with industrial printers.

5. Generating Barcodes: Choose the source for your Order shipping label barcodes. You can generate barcodes based on either the order number or the value from the Barcode field.

6. Unique Barcodes for Each Volume or Package: If you want each unit of volume or package to have a unique barcode, enable the option for unique barcodes. For example, if an order consists of three packages, the system will generate barcodes like 000123-1, 000123-2, and 000123-3. This feature ensures that drivers can easily scan and track each package.

7. Fields Configuration: You can customize the information displayed on your shipping labels by selecting necessary fields from the Available fields section and dragging them to the Displayed fields section. You can include up to 7 fields, including any custom fields you have created.

8. Displaying Items on the Label: If you wish to list the order items on the shipping label, simply tick the corresponding box. Keep in mind that only the first three items will be displayed, followed by "and more" if there are additional items.

9. Adding a Logo: To further personalize your shipping labels, you can upload your company logo. This adds a professional touch and enhances brand recognition.

For optimal printing of your shipping labels, we recommend using Zebra thermal printers or Toshiba BV400D series thermal printers.

By following these steps, you can create customized shipping labels that not only meet your operational needs but also enhance your brand's presentation. If you have any further questions or require assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team!
