Unable to upload file with orders

If you encounter an issue while trying to upload an Excel file for your orders in Track-POD, and you see the error message Please select the file first, don’t worry! 

This is a common issue that can often be resolved quickly. Here’s how to address it:

Resave the Original File

The simplest solution is to resave the original Excel file. Here’s how you can do this:

1. Open the File: Start by opening the Excel file that you are trying to upload.

2. Save As: Click on "File" in the top menu, then select "Save As." Choose a location on your computer where you can easily find the file.

3. Select Excel Format: In the "Save as type" dropdown menu, ensure that you select the Excel Workbook format (.xlsx). This ensures that the file is saved in a compatible format.

4. Upload Again: After saving, try uploading the newly saved file to Track-POD again.

Why Does This Happen?

Files can become corrupted for several reasons:

- Unsaved Changes: If the file was not saved before closing, any changes made may not be stored correctly, leading to corruption.

- Power Outages: A sudden power outage can interrupt the saving process, resulting in a broken file.
