How to set up OTP (One-time password) confirmation in Track-POD

To enhance security and ensure accurate confirmation of deliveries there is an option of sending a PIN code to a customer via SMS. It is available in Advanced Plus, Enterprise and Per Order pricing plans.


To set up sending OTP please go to Settings -> Mobile Workflow and open the drop down list Delivery confirmation requires (also valid for Pickup orders). Select PIN code from the list.



Once you enable the PIN code confirmation, your email and SMS notifications will feature the PIN code placeholder. 




This way a PIN code will be generated and communicated to your customer via email or SMS notifications. You can send them prior to route, at route start and when a driver departs from the preceding location.



At the customer's a driver will ask for a PIN and enter it in the Order confirmation window. If there is no possibility to communicate the pin code to the driver a signature will be required.
