How to add Custom Fields to the Live Tracking Page

Being able to customize your orders and client experience at delivery is a crucial part of a successful business. Custom fields allow you to provide additional information that can enhance your customers' experience during the delivery process. Whether it is an existing custom field or a new custom field exclusive to the Tracking page, you can now enable them to be displayed to customers on the Live Tracking Page post-delivery.


Steps to Enable Custom Fields on the Live Tracking Page


1. Navigate to Settings: Start by logging into your account and going to the Settings menu.


2. Select Notifications: Within the Settings menu, locate and click on the Notifications option. This section allows you to manage various notification settings related to your orders and deliveries.


3. Choose the Live Tracking Page Tab: Once in the Notifications section, find and select the Live Tracking Page tab. This is where you can customize what information is displayed to your customers during the live tracking of their deliveries.


4. Access the Custom Fields Section: Scroll down to the Custom Fields section. Here, you will see a list of available fields that can be added to the Live Tracking Page.




5. Select Your Fields: Check the boxes next to the fields you want to include. A preview on the right side of the screen will show how these fields will appear to your customers, allowing you to visualize the changes before saving.


6. Save Your Changes: After selecting the desired custom fields, click the Save button to update the Live Tracking Page with your selected fields. This ensures that the changes are applied and ready for your customers to see.


Benefits of Enabling Custom Fields


When the Custom Fields are enabled, the delivery driver will see them when entering the ePOD (Electronic Proof of Delivery) information using the Track-POD’s Delivery Driver App. This includes recording signatures or taking pictures, allowing for a seamless and efficient delivery process.


Once the driver completes the delivery, your customers will have access to the same information displayed on the Live Tracking Page. This transparency reduces calls and inquiries to customer service, as customers can easily view relevant details about their delivery, enhancing their overall experience.


 


By customizing the Live Tracking Page with relevant custom fields, you not only improve communication with your customers but also streamline your operations, making for a more efficient delivery process.
