How and why to split orders into separate addresses based on time slots?

Sending out a driver with multiple deliveries to a single location, such as a shopping mall or industrial park, is efficient and saves resources. However, not all businesses operate on the same schedule. Not all businesses have the necessary personnel available to receive deliveries at the same time as other customers. With Track-POD, you can make multiple stops to a single address as efficiently as possible. 

If you want to split your orders assigned to the same address but for different time windows into separate entries go to Settings -> Routing and Optimization, enable the setting 'Split orders into addresses according to time slots'.

Note: make sure that Time Slots are activated in Routing and Optimization settings.

Now you can optimize routes and get the best solutions for delivering orders to the same address but with different time slots. Make sure all of your customers will get their orders on time.

Please be informed that this option works only if you create routes manually (using drag&drop) and/or optimize them. Therefore, this option will not work for creating routes through automatic routing.
