How to transfer orders between drivers?

Anything can happen on the road. The Track-POD mobile app users can solve the difficulties and transfer the remaining orders to their team members so that customers can always get their orders. 


For your drivers to have this option, you need to go to Settings -> Mobile Workflow -> Advanced tab and enable the order transfer option.




Now a new option will appear in the mobile app menu. To transfer orders to other drivers a user has to tap on that. Next, mark the orders that need to be transferred and select an available driver.



There are some rules that you need to follow for the transfer to be successful, namely:


  • Drivers cannot transfer orders of the routes that have not been started
  • Drivers can only transfer delivery and collection points where they have not arrived yet
  • A driver accepting orders shall have a route started
  • Drivers cannot accept only part of the transferred orders. All orders must be either accepted or declined
  • To transfer/accept orders, a driver shall be online.


The drivers who accept orders will see a push notification and a pop-up dialog, which they will not be able to close before they accept or reject the request.


 


If the driver accepts the orders, the result will be as follows: the second driver in the current route will have new orders, and the first driver will have them disappear from the route.


 


If the transfer request is rejected, the orders will remain in the route for the first driver.


 


Have a safe journey and deliver more, better, and always with the order transfer option.
