Standard and simplified order completion workflow

In Track-POD, you can select one of the two workflows that will fit best into your service delivery process. This can be done in the Mobile Workflow settings.

Standard workflow implies more clicks, drilling down into several screens (site -> order -> items) and providing detailed info on orders both to customers and drivers.

The driver arrives at the site and taps the Site card.

On the site screen the driver taps Arrived and if everything is fine taps MassPOD to complete the order or Departed if there is an issue and the order cannot be completed.

The driver may even drill down into the order details card to report a partial delivery or the issue with the order due to which it cannot be delivered.

After setting a status (Delivered/Not Delivered/Partially Delivered/ or Collected/Not Collected/Partially Collected) to the order the ePOD window opens where the driver captures signature, takes pictures, leaves comments, fills in custom fields if any.

Simplified workflow provides a possibility to complete an order right from the Site card without diving into order details. The driver taps COMPLETE on the site card and immediately gets to the ePOD dialogue.

Please remember that your driver can show all the order info to the customer right from the Signature screen by expanding the Details in top of the screen.

The system will not let the driver complete orders at sites in one click if:

  • Mandatory scanning is enabled in the Mobile Workflow settings,
  • There are orders with a planned COD,
  • The site isn't next in the route sequence.
