How does using Geofencing affects your workflow?

If Geofencing appears in the app Settings, it will change your daily workflow. Based on the settings set by your manager, you can see the Geofencing option in two states:

1. If the Geofence is enabled but the driver doesn't have permission to override it, the settings in the Mobile app will be inactive / uneditable.

       2. If web setting allow for bypassing Geofence from the mobile app, it will be possible to disable geofencing in the mobile app setitngs.

Note: the distance in parentheses indicates the radius of the Geofence around your customers' points.

How your workflow will change if you have Geofencing enabled? 

This activated option will typically establish the distance when the delivery confirmation feature is turned on. Furthermore, the standard Arrived and Departed buttons will be absent since these actions will take place automatically upon entering or leaving the geofence zone.

You will receive an automatic notification when you enter the specified radius of the client's Geofence. The order card will also have the status Nearby, which means you can confirm delivery and collect customer signatures.

Once you input the final order status and distance out from the location as specified in the Settings, the system will notify you that you will be departing from the location in 15 seconds. It is similar to clicking the Departed button in a standard process. After that, you can begin assisting another client.

If, for any reason, you must take actions on an order but are outside the geofence radius, you can turn off Geofencing, and you will then see the standard Arrived / Departed buttons. This will function, of course, if you have a permission from the Web settings.
