How to add local self pickups from the warehouse

If your workflow includes customer self pickups from the warehouse and you cannot find a proper setting to accommodate this in Track-POD, we might have a workaround for you.

You will need to have a separate license for a driver which will be used by a dispatcher at the warehouse.

Create order for Collection and add Client details. Depot address and the address in the Client’s details will be the same.

All such orders for collection within the same route will have different client names and the same address of your warehouse.

3. In order for each pickup to be added as a separate site, assign a designated time slot for each customer.

4. This is how the end route will look like.

The dispatcher/driver will be able to rearrange the sequence of stops if needed and provide the order to the customer if they arrive out of the designated time slot.

For dispatcher’s convenience it’s also possible to hide already collected orders from the route.
