By popular demand, Track POD has released an additional feature of adding orders on the go to an existing order en route. This is now available for drivers to add any type of order while he has arrived on site. This feature is available starting from Advanced Plus plan.
First things first, your admin needs to enable this feature in the Mobile workflow settings in the advanced tab:
The workflow for adding the order from the driver app is as follows:
1. The driver is only able to add order, for the site/client that he has arrived to:
2. Once arrived, click on the 3 dots at the top right of the screen to open the addition feature menu, and choose add order:
3. Choose the type of order to be added and fill out any further details (please note the order number can be generated either automatically by adding MOB to the existing order number or entered manually by a driver) :
4. Note that Goods are added from the existing entries in Directories -> Goods, the driver will not be able to create a new Item in the mobile app. If the scanning is ON and the driver scans the barcode of the item saved in Track-POD Directories the item name will be automatically inserted in the appropriate field. Also, when a driver starts entering the name of the goods the mobile app will offer the list of the relevant items to simplify the process.
Any order created from the drivers app will appear in the Order section in the Plan and Track tab.
