Time Slot is a time range within which a site or a customer can be visited. Track-POD Advanced Routing helps to avoid vehicle idle time and optimize your fleet operation to the maximum.
To enable Time Slots function go to Settings -> Routing and Optimization, tick box Time slots. Make sure that the strategy selected for routing is Time, as other strategies ignore time restrictions.
To permit the system to apply certain time allowance (15% by default) for routing with time slots put a tick in box Soft time slots.
If you want the system to shift departure time according to specified time slots check the box Dynamic departure time.
Note: Time slots, Soft time slots, Dynamic departure time are available for the Time optimization mode only.
Time slots can be imported to Track-POD from your system via API, spreadsheets, or can be entered for each order when you create/edit orders manually on the web dashboard. Just go to tab Additional in the Add order/Edit order window.
With time slots displayed in the Time from/ Time till columns, you can easily filter and sort your orders by the time window parameter.
